Behind the name
"Zenith Lens" is the registered editorial name of this publication. We publish an independent first-home buyer guide for Australian readers — purchase steps, leasehold checklists, and questions to ask when comparing home-loan lenders. We are not an optometrist, camera or lens retailer, law firm, conveyancer, mortgage broker, or bank.
The word lens, in this publication, means a way of looking at a purchase until the steps are distinct: the lease, the contract, the questions for a lender’s public page, and the week of completion. It is a metaphor for clarity. It is not a product you wear, and it is not equipment you mount on a camera. If you arrived looking for an eye examination or a shop that sells glass, you are in the wrong room. The telephone on this page will still be answered, and we will say so plainly.

Name the page and the sentence. We would rather strike a stale line than defend it. We will not add a rate table to win an argument.
