Questions for public lender pages

This page is the short version of the comparison note. Ten lenders, alphabetical, identical questions, no rates and no stars. Zenith Lens is not a broker and not a division of any bank. If you want the longer reading, open the Canberra comparison guide after you have seen the table.

How to use the rows
Pick up a pen. For each name, open the public page and write how that page describes offset, how it describes redraw, whether it mentions a package fee, and how it describes a break cost. Date the note. If the page asks you to log in or to start an application, stop. You can read a public explanation without giving this desk, or the lender, a file on you.
Do not highlight St.George in your notes as a preferred row. The editorial choice was alphabetical order, between NAB and Westpac, with the same link treatment as ANZ, Bank of Melbourne, Bankwest, Bendigo Bank, Commonwealth Bank, ING and Macquarie. A relative’s bank is not a research method.
What stays off this page
Repayments, comparison rates, and “what you will be offered” are not here. They depend on a lender’s assessment and on a contract you have not shown us. Duty concessions are not here either. Those rules sit with the ACT Revenue Office and change with the transaction date. The Crown lease is not here. A lender page does not state the purpose clause.
When the four answers are written, take the property questions to a conveyancer and, if you choose, take a finance conversation to a lender directly. Our contact form is for corrections and guide questions. It does not lodge an application.
