Terms
Terms of use
These terms govern use of zenithlens.com, published by Zenith Lens from Suite 7, 15 Moore Street, Canberra ACT 2601, Australia. Updated 12 October 2026. Contact scope@zenithlens.com or +61 2 6162 4738.
A guide, not a retainer
The site is an independent educational publication about buying a first home in the ACT, including leasehold steps and questions to ask when you compare public lender pages. It is not legal advice, not financial advice, not credit assistance, and not conveyancing. It does not create a solicitor-client relationship or a broker-client relationship. Acts and Revenue Office settings change. Read the current source, and appoint your own conveyancer or solicitor before you exchange a contract or sign a section 17 certificate.
No lender relationship
We do not arrange loans, quote rates, or invite applications. Links to public pages are for your own reading. A link is not an endorsement and not a recommendation. Nothing on this site is an offer of credit.
Trademarks
Zenith Lens is an independent home buying guide publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by St.George Bank – A Division of Westpac Banking Corporation, or its related entities. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
The same independence applies to every other lender named in the field guide. ANZ, Bank of Melbourne, Bankwest, Bendigo Bank, Commonwealth Bank, ING, Macquarie, NAB, St.George and Westpac, and Westpac Banking Corporation, are third-party names. Their logos are not used here. Their word marks remain their property or the property of their related entities. Mention of a name is so a reader can find a public page and ask the same questions of each. It is not a claim of sponsorship, approval, or a joint product. If you are a trade mark owner and a sentence misuses a mark, write to scope@zenithlens.com and we will correct the page.
Your messages
Do not submit unlawful material, or another person’s personal information without a reason they would expect. We may discard a message that looks automated or abusive. The form is limited to five submissions an hour from one IP address. Sending a message does not oblige us to publish a reply.
Liability
Guides are prepared with care and can still be wrong, incomplete, or overtaken by an amendment. To the extent the Australian Consumer Law allows, we exclude liability for loss that comes from relying on the site instead of on the Act, the Revenue Office, a lender’s own terms, or a professional you appoint. Nothing in these terms excludes a guarantee or right that cannot legally be excluded. The site is offered from Canberra for readers who understand that limitation.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Australian Capital Territory. Courts of the ACT have jurisdiction. If a clause is invalid, the rest remains.
